Regulatory Central is a dashboard for program managers and regulators to supervise product regulation compliance violation through creating, viewing, and managing regulation query requests and accessing overall product compliance performance metrics.

User Problems

  • Regulators do have have a tool to create and manage cases for product regulatory query requests

  • Program managers do not have a tool to view and analyze data and trends over product regulation performance and violations across programs

Business Problems

  • Risk of increase in product regulation compliance violations due to lack of oversight and maintenance by regulators and program managers

Objective

Manage UX consultation sessions with partner team and deliver high-level conceptual mockups to allow director to understand envisioned plan for project proposal.


 
 

Product Strategy

 
 

My main role in for this project was maintain weekly consultations with a partner team to give them UX guidance how to execute on their plans to create a comprehensive dashboard for program managers and regulators to manage product compliance data.

To aid with their project proposal, my partner team came to me with a minimum specs for functionalities they wanted to be able to convey that the service to provide:

  • View regulatory compliance performance and violation metrics

  • Create cases for regulatory query requests

  • View for regulatory query requests

  • Track case history and manage cases

 
 

Personas

 

I created personas for the team to help them distinguish the different needs, behaviors, frustrations, and goals between program managers and regulators to give us a framework for what considerations needed to be incorporated.

 
 
 

The personas gave my collaborators a clearer idea on user pain points and needs and allowed me to more effectively convey the fundamentals that the service needed to address to be relevant for each user type.
